Do I need an outpatient team or can I just work with SB?

Recovering from an eating disorder requires a supportive team. An “outpatient team” typically includes a therapist, a registered dietitian, a physician, often a psychiatrist, and a recovery specialist or coach.


It’s essential to work with a therapist, and if you’re in a program with meal support, a registered dietitian too. We can connect you with both or refer you to our trusted outpatient providers based on your location.

What is Recovery Coaching?

Therapeutic Coaching merges various strategies including behavioral interventions, therapeutic exposures, skill development, and fostering accountability. Customized to each client, it encompasses real-time skill application to prevent relapse, managing emotions, body image, and exposure exercises like grocery store visits. It also aids in achieving occupational, educational, and daily living goals.

Will you speak to my outpatient team?

Absolutely! We collaborate with your team weekly or as required. We furnish them with weekly session summaries and progress updates. When necessary, we arrange joint meetings with you and your team for comprehensive support.

Are any services held in an office?

All our services are conveniently provided within your community, whether at home, work, school, or office, either virtually or in-person. In New York, we offer in-office therapy and EDRS services for your convenience and accessibility.

Can I work with you if I am already working with a therapist or team?

Yes, we offer comprehensive treatment and wraparound support to serve as a bridge, aiding in the maintenance of your recovery between sessions with your dedicated team.

Do you take insurance?

Yes, We’re in-network with:

  • Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield in New York
  • Anthem Blue Cross companies in CT, GA, OH, VA
  • Healthfirst Medicaid
  • Florida Blue

We handle Cigna and Aetna cases individually. Direct insurance payment is accepted post-deductible. We pursue single-case agreements with other insurers and are expanding our in-network coverage. Call (307) 288-6455 for fee details.

How often will I work with SB?

Our service or program structure varies based on recommendations from your outpatient team. Some clients engage with us once weekly, while others have multiple daily sessions. We tailor our approach to your unique needs and preferences, ensuring optimal support and progress.
